- Fragrance Story
- My first exposure to Holly Herndon’s work was the video for “Home” in 2014. I had instant chills absorbing the audio and video, I played the song obsessively for a solid month. Her album “Platform” was released a year later and I listened to it with equal devotion. When I first listened to “Unequal,” I was transported back in time to a Chelsea gallery where I was introduced to the work of artist Céleste Boursier-Mougenot. The entirety of the gallery space was dedicated to porcelain bowls floating on water in wading pools. The bowls would randomly float toward one another, creating beautiful tones with their delicate collisions. UNEQUAL is a celebration of floral tones that randomly touch and move apart on the skin. Chosen as one of ÇaFleureBon 2017 Best Fragrances.
